Parkland School Builds a Walking Trail

Friday June 1, 2007

Parkland School was recently awarded the prestigious Lighthouse Award in Ontario. The school is also on of a few Living Schools in the province.  The school prides itself  on academics, healthy living and character education.  On Friday June 1st, the entire school took part in building a one kilometre walking trail which surrounds the school.  Students, staff, and parent volunteers cut sod, raked and spread wood chips.  Afterwards as shown in the photos below, the entire school celebrated and walked the path.  GoodLife Kid's Foundation donated the powder blue tshirts.
